Last updated September 28, 2026This website provides information about the Muslim Students Association at the University of Memphis. It does not use advertising cookies, behavioral tracking, analytics, user accounts, or online payment processing.
Prayer-time service
The homepage requests calculated prayer times for Memphis from AlAdhan. When that request is made, standard technical information such as your IP address and browser details may be shared with that service. The website does not request or share your device’s precise location.
Events calendar
The homepage embeds the public MSA Events calendar from Google Calendar. Viewing that calendar sends technical information such as your IP address and browser details to Google, which may use cookies according to its own privacy policy. Only events placed on the public MSA Events calendar are shown here.
Contacting the MSA
When you submit the inquiry form, your name, email address, topic, and message are sent to FormSubmit, our form-delivery service, which forwards them to uofmemmsa@gmail.com. FormSubmit may also process technical information such as your IP address for delivery and spam prevention. It states that submissions are retained for 30 days. See FormSubmit’s privacy policy. The form does not save your entries in browser storage. The MSA receives the inquiry in Gmail and uses it to respond or follow up. Email copies remain in the MSA mailbox until deleted; you can contact us to request deletion.
External services
The website uses Google Fonts for typography, embeds Google Calendar, retrieves prayer times from AlAdhan, and uses FormSubmit to deliver inquiries. It also links to Instagram, University of Memphis webpages, and independent mosque websites and community listings. Those services operate under their own privacy policies.
Future changes
If the website later adds registrations, merchandise sales, analytics, photo submissions, or other data collection, this policy will be updated before those features launch.
